13.2 Adjetivos

Al contrario del español en inglés los adjetivos no conocen ni género ni número, hay sólo una forma.

Ejemplos    
El hombre es grande. The man is tall.
el hombre grande The tall man.
un hombre grande A tall man.
el sombrero del hombre grande. The hat of the tall man.
Da flores al hombre grande. She gives flowers to the tall man.
Pegó al hombre grande. She has hit the tall man.
Los hombres son grandes. The men are tall.
Los hombres grandes. The tall men.
Los sombreros de los hombres grandes. The hats of the tall men.
Dan flores a los hombres grandes. They give flowers to the tall men.
Pegaron a hombres grandes. They have hit the tall men.
La mujer es baja. The woman is small.
la mujer baja. The small woman.
una mujer baja A small woman.
Los zapatos de la mujer baja. The shoes of the small woman.
Da zapatos a la mujer baja. He gives shoes to the small woman.
Lleva a la mujer baja. He carries the small woman.
Las mujeres son bajas. The women are small.
las mujeres bajas. The small women.
los zapatos de las mujeres bajas. The shoes of the small women.
Da zapatos a las mujeres bajas. He gives shoes to the small women.
Llevan a las mujeres bajas. They carry the small women.
El niño es divertido. The child is funny.
el niño divertido. The funny child.
un niño divertido A funny child.
la pelota del niño divertido The ball of the funny child.
Da una pelota al niño divertido. She gives a ball to the funny child.
Lleva al niño divertido. She carries the funny child with the ball.
Los niños son divertidos. The children are funny.

Da la pelota a los niños divertidos She gives the funny children a ball.
Llevan los niños divertidos They carry the funny children.

Se pueden utilizar los adjetivos como atributos (los niños divertidos) o como predicados (los niños son divertidos).
